Chicken Sausage with Walnut Cream Sauce

Serves 4

One package of apple chicken sausage, sliced thin
1/2 vidalia onion minced

1 container heavy whipping cream
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup parmesan
1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

heat, but not boil/simmer whipping cream
grind the walnuts in the food processor
add to heating cream, whisk until smooth
add parmesan, whisk until melted

boil up about 5 oz of whole wheat pasta

saute the chicken sausage and onion

combine all ingredients including most of the parsely, reserving some for pretty on top. Serve with a nice spinach salad with balsamic vinegar.

This was seriously yummie.
